• CSB Students are gaining real-world job skills through CSB's Transition Partnership Program, a collaboration with the California Department of Rehabilitation. Bob's Dog Wash is a full-service dog washing operation for CSB guide dogs and ambassador dogs. Bob's Dog Wash was named after retired CSB maintenance staff member Bob Pelayo, who was instrumental in installing the commercial-grade dog bath. This program teaches students how to read service requests, safely handle dogs, wash, dry, brush, clean ears, and even make homemade treats.

  Explore the world of web development and computer science with our inclusive and accessible self-paced lessons, covering everything from HTML basics to game design, aligned with CA State standards, and offering unplugged activities for all learners. Our curriculum is enriched by additional resources to adapt CS materials for blind and low vision students.
• Screen Reader Training Website
  The CSB Assistive Technology team is proud to announce the launch of CSB's Screen Reader Training (SRT) website! A great space to practice Screen Reading skills. This website is intentionally inaccessible, so students can learn to navigate the inaccessible content they often encounter on websites not designed with web accessibility in mind.
• How to Prepare for an Evaluation for a Student With Visual Impairments
  The National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) posted a blog written by our Assessment Center team members on how to prepare for an evaluation for a student with visual impairments.
