Online Library
The California School for the Blind has an on-campus library that provides resources and services to blind and visually impaired students. The collection has over 15,000 titles in a variety of formats, including regular print, large print, braille, audiocassette, 4-track audiocassette, CD, Playaway, Digital Talking Book, CD-ROM and print/braille. A separate parent/professional collection contains books, curricula, journals, and videos for parents, staff, and other professionals who work with visually impaired students. Teachers from other public schools in California may borrow materials for their students from CSB. Teachers interested in borrowing materials should contact the library at 510-936-5575 or at ehart@csb-cde.ca.gov.
