We will be hosting the 2nd CALIFORNIA BRAILLE BEE on February 18th and February 19th, 2026 during 7th and 8th periods (2:05-3:30PM). The theme will be CALIFORNIA, and all braille contraction word lists will be from this theme. Word lists and lots of fun California facts will be shared early with staff and students to enhance braille skills and knowledge of our great state of California. Come support our kids and learn something new!

When is the Braille-Literacy Bee?

  • Level 1 and Level 2 Contestants compete Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 2:05 - 3:30PM.
  • Level 3 and Level 4 Contestants compete Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 2:05 - 3:30PM.
