Tech After Hours
October 15, 2025
Are you looking for practical solutions and expert guidance to enhance your students' access to technology? Our monthly workshop series is designed specifically for teachers of students with visual impairments (TVIs) and other professionals in the field of blindness to ask questions, explore challenges, and gain research-based strategies that you can implement immediately in your classroom.
Each month, we will focus on a different technology topic, giving you the opportunity to dive deep into the areas most relevant to your students' needs. From accessible tools for reading and writing to creative ways to engage students with complex technology, these sessions provide actionable insights that save you time and improve learning outcomes. When resources are discussed during the workshop, they will be shared with all attendees, so you can continue to explore and apply what you've learned.
Workshops are held virtually once a month on a Tuesday in the late afternoon or early evening, making it easy to fit professional learning into your busy schedule. Topics change monthly, so be sure to check back regularly and join the sessions that align with your interests and classroom goals.
Take advantage of this opportunity to connect, learn, and bring new strategies to your students! For the current schedule and registration links, please visit the Tech After Hours section of our Assistive Technology page, where you'll also find additional resources.
