State Testing Office Hours

SBAC and ELPAC and CAA! Oh my! Introducing Office Hours for state testing questions!

Tune in every Tuesday starting March 15st, 2022 from 3:30PM to 4:15PM on Zoom!

Here's a detailed note from Veronica Gunn, our Curriculum and Outcomes Specialist at CSB:

"Hello all,

I will be holding virtual office hours 3:30-4:15 every Tuesday starting March 15, 2022 to answer questions about state testing. I plan to start with a 5-15 minute presentation with a different topic each week (e.g., important reminders, what's new this year, choosing accommodations and supports, how to navigate the tests with Job Access With Speech (JAWS)); this part will be recorded. Following the presentation, I will stop recording and I will open it up to a Q&A session related to state testing (ELPAC, CAA, SBAC, CAST). If there are particular topics that you would like to see covered, please email me (vgunn@csb-cde.ca.gov) your suggestions. Feel free to bring lots of questions or come hang out and listen to other people's questions! Hope to see you there!"

Who: Anyone who will be administering any of the state tests to students with visual impairments (and/or anyone who finds the topic incredibly interesting) is invited
